Modern artists and musicians navigate a psychedelic landscape: interwoven electronic signals and emergent patterns, artificially intelligent responsive systems, digital collaborations (and collaborators) – feedback loops galore! Join the fun in this workshop with Michael Garfield as he brings his academic background in biology and 10+ years of live looping musical adventures to this interactive playshop that digests the boundary between the artist and the instrument, observers and participants.

Participants get a hands-on look at how to improvise live looping compositions as we jam around an RC-505 Boss Loopstation and mutate our live-sampled contributions into a performance of the nascent global mind emerging through us...

** If you successfully register for this workshop, please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. Those not in attendance 5-minutes before the session begins, may forfeit their spot to the next person on the waitlist.
