Drummer polymath Greg Fox kicks off Moogfest’s durational series. His drumming performance is accompanied by immersive live visuals, presented by Undervolt & Co. Whether behind a conventional kit or a hybridized electro-acoustic drum setup, Fox’s swarming blast beats and hypnotic polyrhythms ride the cutting-edge. Exploring rhythm’s preverbal language through pure musical athleticism, Fox stretches the possibilities of drumming in the information age.
