Since the 1960s, artists and technologists have used software for the real-time manipulation of image processing.
This workshop is a hands-on demo and studio visit, with Andrew Benson, known for his feedback experimental digital video and animations, is constantly pushing the boundaries of technologies for new ways in which to create work in this expanded media environment. Explore the visual experimentation possibilities of custom software tools Jitter/Max/MSP, and the application of ideas pulled from synthesis (control signals, modulation, feedback, filtering).
