Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Blackspace hosts a beat making and coding demo, that takes youth from Durham, to a galaxy far, far away. Beat Making Lab™ co-founder Pierce Freelon and the Electrical and Computer Engineering Design Center at NC State present an app currently in development that would allow youth from around the world to share music and ideas through at Darth-vader robot. Participants get a brief history of the project, exchange sounds and make a beat together.

** This session is free and open to the public as part of Moogfest’s STEAM program. A festival ticket is not required.

This workshop is limited in capacity and offered on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start time. Entrance is not guaranteed.
