Together with Dr. Bob Moog, David Van Kouvering presented the first portable music synthesizers to the world.  He is personally responsible for presenting the Minimoog, and he pioneered the performance music synthesizer industry and market worldwide. He also founded and served as Chairman of the Board of of the Van Koevering Company - inventors and developers of the world’s first interactive piano, and online, touch screen, computer-enhanced music technology.  As a musicologist, David and his wife Becky present public and television performances of the Science of Sound and History of Music on their collection of more than 250 rare and unusual musical instruments. His life’s work has demonstrated his gifts as a visionary, technologist, futurist, and inventor.
